What is a credit?+

One unit of work: validating an email costs 1 credit, roasting a draft costs 3, a full reputation scan costs 5. Every plan's credits work on every tool.

What happens if I run out of credits?+

Paid plans can buy top-up credits. They last 12 months and are only used after your monthly credits run out, so nothing goes to waste. We email you at 80% so it never stops mid-campaign.

Does it work with Instantly, Smartlead, lemlist and Apollo?+

Yes. Connect your account with an API key to roast live campaign copy and push cleaned lists straight into a campaign. There's also a Chrome extension that roasts emails from the Gmail compose window.

Can my team share one account?+

Yes. Growth includes 3 seats, Pro 5 and Business 15. Teammates share the plan, credits, monitors and reports, and you choose who can manage billing, keys and the team.

How accurate is the data?+

Scores are built from verified checks we run live: DNS records, SPF, DKIM and DMARC, 9 blacklist zones including Spamhaus, SpamCop and Barracuda, and real SMTP conversations with the receiving server. AI is only used to explain and prioritize, never to invent the data.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes, from the billing page. Your plan runs until the end of the period you paid for, then you drop back to the free plan and keep your history.

I run an agency. Can my clients see reports without seeing Hookroast?+
