- What does being blacklisted mean?
- A blocklist operator has seen spam from your domain or server IP. Many mailbox providers check these lists, so a listing can send your mail straight to spam or get it rejected.
- How do I get delisted?
- Fix the cause first (a compromised account, a bought list, a misconfigured server), then use the list's own removal form. Most lists also expire listings automatically once the spam stops.
- Can I be warned when it happens again?
- Yes. Hookroast monitoring rescans your domain on a schedule and emails you the moment it lands on a list or its authentication changes.
